Part of your planted aquarium routine
MKP lets you supplement phosphate and potassium without adding nitrogen. It is one ingredient in a fertilizing routine; your plants may also need nitrogen, magnesium, calcium and trace nutrients from other sources.
Dosing
Your dose depends on actual aquarium water volume, the product’s analysis and the nutrients already supplied by your water and other fertilizers. Weigh dry fertilizer with a suitable scale. MKP adds both phosphorus and potassium, so account for both when combining fertilizers.
Open our fertilizer dosing calculator
Use a monopotassium phosphate reference with a matching 0-52-34 analysis. Calculator results are estimates of nutrient additions; adjust your routine using plant growth and water tests. P₂O₅ and K₂O are fertilizer reporting units, not elemental nutrient percentages.
Storage
Keep the jar tightly sealed in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
