About us
Calgary, Alberta · Growing since 2015
A shared love of planted aquariums.
The Wet Leaf began in Calgary in 2015 with a simple goal: make beautiful aquatic plants and quality aquascaping supplies easier to find in Canada.
We’re aquarium hobbyists ourselves. We know the excitement of finding an unusual plant, watching a planted tank take shape, and discovering equipment that makes caring for it easier. That experience guides the plants, brands and supplies we bring to our store.
Alongside plants grown in our own aquariums, we occasionally import harder-to-find varieties from around the world. From your first planted tank to your next aquascape, we’re here to help you find what you need and have it delivered to your door.
Our community, across Canada
From Alberta to your aquarium.
What started with our own aquariums has grown into a community of aquascapers from coast to coast to coast. Here’s a look at the plants we’ve shared and the places our orders have reached. Explore the map to find your corner of Canada.
Thank you for making The Wet Leaf part of your aquarium. We’re glad to be growing with you.
