Enhance your aquarium naturally with premium dried Teak leaves, a popular botanical for shrimp tanks, betta aquariums, blackwater fish tanks, and planted aquascapes. Teak leaves are valued for their rich tannin release, natural appearance, and ability to create a more authentic tropical habitat for freshwater livestock.
When added to aquariums, teak leaves gradually release tannins and humic substances that help recreate soft-water stream and forest environments. These conditions are often preferred by shrimp, bettas, rasboras, tetras, and other tropical species. As the leaves soften over time, they develop beneficial biofilm and microbial growth that shrimp, snails, and fry naturally graze on.
Teak leaves are also highly sought after for aquascaping because of their broad shape, warm earthy tones, and realistic leaf-litter appearance. They add shelter, grazing surfaces, and visual depth while supporting a balanced ecosystem.
Perfect for hobbyists creating blackwater biotopes, shrimp breeding tanks, nano aquariums, or natural freshwater displays.
