Add a unique natural botanical to your aquarium with premium 4 x 4 inch dried Banana leaf squares. Specially cut for convenient use, these banana leaf pieces are ideal for shrimp tanks, betta aquariums, planted tanks, breeding setups, and blackwater aquascapes.
Banana leaves are popular among shrimp keepers because they soften gradually in water and develop a rich layer of biofilm and microorganisms that shrimp, snails, and fry love to graze on. As they break down, they also release gentle tannins and organic compounds that help recreate natural tropical stream and forest-floor environments.
The convenient 4 x 4 inch square size makes placement easy in nano tanks, breeder boxes, shrimp cubes, and aquascapes of all sizes. Use whole pieces as grazing platforms, tuck them under wood or stone for natural shelter, or layer multiple pieces for a realistic leaf-litter effect.
Their broad surface area provides excellent feeding space for shrimp colonies while adding warm earthy tones and a natural aesthetic to any freshwater aquarium.
