Smooth Dragon Stone
Smooth dragon stones resemble regular dragon stone in shape and has holes throughout. It is a much denser type of stone that has been worn by water.
Much cleaner than regular type dragon stone this stone will only require a quick rinse and then it’s ready to go.
Currently most of our stock would be better suited for smaller aquariums up to about 20 gallons depending on how you plan to Aquascape. Stones range from 5 cm to 15 cm at the longest dimension.
Recommended Amount
We recommend 2 pounds of stone for every gallon of water your tank holds. A 5 gallon tank would need 10 pounds, 10 gallon requires 20 pounds etc. Of course this is just a recommendation, the amount of stone needed will depend on your plans. It's always nice to have a bit extra for more layout options too!
How we choose stone
Most stones range from 6 cm - 15cm and are chosen randomly for what we think will work well together. But if you would like smaller, bigger, rounder, sharper or different colours, just request when you check out. We'll do our best.
