Very much like Skeletion king in structure, one of the larger leafed Bucephalandra. With thick veins popping out of the very dark leafs. The under side of the leaf is strickingly pink! Other similar variants are Green Achilles, Dark Achilles, Keishi and Skeleton king. There is currently some debate as to the name of this Bucephalandra.
5+ leafs per plant.
Leaf Size X Large 5-8 cm
Bucephalandra are a relatively new genus of plants to aquarists. They can only be found in certain isolated areas of Borneo. Often named for the region of that they are found. Bucephalandras are found in rivers and streams, and on the banks of rivers. They will grow emersed or submersed. Often the submersed forms have a more delicate leaf structure and exhibit more intense coloration.Caring for Bucephalandra is very much the same as Anubis or Crypts. They are slow growing and have a rhizome that should always be above the substrate.
